Blind Fishing Boat
Ever wonder what it feels like to have a 300lb Bull Shark bite on the end of your line? How about a 150lb Sailfish, or 6-foot long Sturgeon. As North America’s only totally blind fishing professional, Lawrence Gunther Euteneier has caught fish all over the world using his ability to “Feel the Bite”!
Having honed his skills fishing commercially for Cod off Canada’s east coast with hand lines aboard home-made wooden dories, Lawrence now competes in tournaments throughout North America.
In addition to pro-staffing for Ranger Boats and Evinrude, Lawrence independently operates both a 12-foot plastic folding Porta-Bote propelled by an electric Minn Kota motor, and a HobieCat kayak using their proprietary Mirage drive system. His development and sea-trialing of numerous talking technologies contributed to his winning the 2010 “California International Blind Sailing Regatta”.
