Set your sights on dropping anchor and casting a line at city’s largest boat and outdoors event Feb. 25 –28

OTTAWA– --- January 7, 2009 --- Ottawa Valley’s largest and most popular boating and outdoors consumer show, The Ottawa Boat and Sportsmen’s Show, returns to celebrate its Coral Anniversary at the end of February!

The Rideau Canal is frozen over, but that’s not stopping more than 200 exhibitors from showing hundreds of the season’s hottest new boats and acres of gear, gadgetry and tackle made exclusively for fishing, cruising and camping. Devoted boating, fishing, and outdoors enthusiasts will be in for a treat when checking out the The Ottawa Boat and Sportsmen’s Show, running from February 25 to February 28.

The show offers entertaining exhibits, including a meet-and-greet with renowned Canadian celebrity fisherman Bob Izumi; Fishing with “Big Jim” at The Minto Jackpot Casting Pond; a NEW exhibit displaying 10 Canadian knife artisans; informative fishing seminars presented by Ontario OUT OF DOORS Magazine, as well as opportunities to win great prizes.
