OTTAWA– --- February 12, 2010 --- In less than two weeks, the Ottawa Valley’s largest and most anticipated boating and outdoors show launches its 35th Anniversary edition at centrally-located, Lansdowne Park.
Showcasing the latest products and information on all facets of Boating (cruisers, fishing boats, powerboats, wakeboard boats, personal watercraft, inflatables, kayaks and canoes), Fishing (manufacturers, retailers, educational seminars and outfitters), Industry Experts (fishing, boating and safety), Camping, Travel Destinations, Lodges, Adventure Outfitters and Outdoor Products and Services. The show is a great outing for avid boaters, fisherman, campers, cottagers and active families alike!

Over 55 boat brands on display: Check out the third largest boat show in Canada, featuring exhibits showcasing more than 55 boat brands. Offering boaters, fishermen and cottagers a first look at 2010’s newest boats, motors and accessories from North America’s top manufacturers, the show is conveniently located indoors at one venue.
Fishing and Sportsmen’s Gurus at your service: Learn from the experts with autograph sessions, meet and greets and exciting seminars taking place throughout the show. The 35th Anniversary roster includes: celebrity TV fishermen Bob Izumi & Dave Mercer, Ottawa’s own Big Jim McLaughlin, Ontario Out of Doors Editor Lonnie King, Angler and Hunter TV’s Cam Brownson, WFN’s Jamie Pistilli and special guest, host of the Canada in the Rough television series, Thomas Pigeon.
Go-Fish with “Big Jim” at The Minto Jackpot Casting Pond: Young and old, novice or pro - cast a reel and take home a prize. Join Ottawa’s own Big Jim McLaughlin to learn everything you need to know about fishing.
Ministry of Natural Resources helps out: Presenting information on a variety of programs, the Ministry’s commitment to natural resource protection never ceases to disappoint. Independence for the blind – new technology revealed: Visit the world’s first Blind Fishing Boat. Developed by legally-blind inventor, Lawrence Euteneier; his boat incorporates mainstream and assistive technologies that allow him to navigate his12-foot fishing boat across lakes on his own!
