Thomas Pigeon, host of "Canada in the Rough", is a man whose passion for the outdoors is matched only by his deep and abiding respect for the natural world. Highly respected, camera savvy and experienced, Thomas brings his viewers unparalleled adventure, outstanding videography and exemplary insights into the wildlife that makes its home on the last great North American hunting frontier .

Thomas's life-long love of the outdoors was seeded as a Boy Scout and fueled by his father's passion for hunting and fishing. Thomas is the founder of a national hunting and conservation advocacy group and a principal behind the creation of the Young Hunter Education Scholarship Program (YHES).

Thomas's hunting interests include upland game and migratory birds, but his primary passion for big game has taken him throughout North America and beyond. He is practiced in the disciplines of archery, muzzle loading and rifle marksmanship.
